What does Applied Water Solutions, Inc. do for its clients?

We provide equipment and services, both consulting and maintenance, to the water purification industry. We’ve chosen to use the ‘best practices’ approach. By implementing the best designs and best technologies available we provide the client with the best solution to their water purification needs.

What qualifies Applied Water Solutions, Inc. as experts?

We have over 30 combined years experience in the separations and filtration industry, both international and domestic. Our global experience in all market segments has given us an opportunity to work with the best. We apply that knowledge to our designs, and share that knowledge with our clients.

One of the technologies we’ve come across is Electrodeionization and find all the different offerings confusing, what is you experience with EDI?

Electrodeionization, (EDI) is one of specialties. Since the EDI technology was first commercialized in the late 1980’s, EDI has matured into an accepted technology, and during this time many new products have entered the market, i.e. thin cell, thick cell, spiral etc. We can ‘clear these turbid waters of technology’ because we’ve had experience with all the different offerings.

Our water system is not performing; do you have any experience with troubleshooting water systems?

Yes. We have global experience with providing solutions to our customer’s problems. Along with our hands on approach, we frequently provide seminars and have participated in many conferences and trade shows by delivering presentations on troubleshooting water systems.

What technologies have you had experience with, and in which markets?

Our experience covers the pharmaceutical/biotech, semi-conductor, power industry and just about any market that requires high purity water. Using the principles of ‘best practices’, we’ve designed our systems using the best designs from all market segments, and apply it to our clients needs. By working with all market segments we’ve gained experience in all types of pre and post treatment of water. Technologies include: multimedia, continuous backwashing media filtration, softening, carbon, carbon ion exchange resin blends, ion exchange resin, ultraviolet light, ultra filtration both hollow fiber, spiral and depth filters, reverse osmosis, and Electrodeionization.

Does Applied Water Solutions, Inc. manufacturer their own equipment?

No. We’ve chosen to work with complimentary companies that provide products for a particular market. Unlike large conglomerates that try and provide the ‘one stop shop approach’, we work with companies that stay focus on what they do the best. By bringing specialized companies together, we are able to provide the most economical design that fits the client’s needs.
